What is the #Insiders4Good Fellowship?

We belong to the Windows Insiders, a global community of people using technology to make a lasting impact on the world. During our travels and talks this year, we have been so impressed by the zeal and creativity of entrepreneurs all over the world. These incredibly diverse people are thinking deeply about the issues confronting their communities, coming up with solutions that could address these issues, and searching out opportunities for their solutions to thrive in the market—both their local communities, and potentially communities across the world.

We are seeking to deepen our relationship with people living outside of traditional tech centers like Silicon Valley, New York City, London, and Tokyo. For this reason, we have launched the #Insiders4Good Fellowship, starting with Nigeria and following up with East Africa (in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda) in 2017. Our six month Fellowship program strives to open up opportunities to entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas by leading our these Fellows through a journey of strategic thinking about the problem they are trying to solve, acquiring the customers they will serve, building their product and monetizing their solutions. We also connect these entrepreneurs to our global community of Windows Insiders so they have an opportunity to network and build even deeper global relationships. Working closely with our Fellows also helps our team to prioritize and solve technical issues that could hinder them from reaching their goals.

Windows Insiders are the millions that represent the billions and we can’t wait to see what kinds of incredible solutions our #Insiders4Good Fellows create for a better world for everyone.
